ABOUT KATHLEEN
Kathleen (Kat) Nelson Troyer is the CEO of Jigsaw Solutions, Inc. where she works with companies as an organizational development consultant, executive, team and career coach. She is also co-host of the Real Job Talk podcast.
Kathleen started her career in staffing and Human Resources working for Charles Schwab, Barclays Global Investors, Spirent Communications, Cloudera and several technology start -up companies. Kathleen’s focus today is helping companies build and retain strong leaders, teams and healthy cultures where people want to come to work every day.
Kathleen works with people who are willing to think differently and and step into greater leadership of their lives. She is a lifelong learner with a practical, results oriented approach. She values inclusivity, honesty, integrity, authenticity, and kindness along with a practical, results oriented approach. Kathleen is an expert at coaching leaders on how to have necessary conversations at work. Kathleen coaches her clients to be clear, transparent and kind when approaching these sometimes uncomfortable conversations. She is a firm believer that each individual is the CEO of their career and lives, no matter what their job.
Kathleen lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her fabulous husband John, and two cats. She loves to cook, travel, and can often be found hiking the trails along the San Mateo coast. She loves spending time in the water near dolphins and whales and has had the opportunity to swim with them in Hawaii and Tonga.
